For Saunas there is a design trend from architects we work with to apply darker saunas in public Spas.
Dark colored saunas are not common because it is not possible to paint sauna wood. Therefore the Research & Development department came up with an innovation. A unique natural wood treatment has been developed to create this special dark natural effect without using any paint or stain.
One of the architect whom designed a modern dark sauna last year was the Italian architect Piero Lissoni for the Conservatorium Hotel project in Amsterdam.
